One thing every sports fan needs is a jersey supporting their favorite team/player. We are a hockey based website, however there are obviously other sports out there!

For fun, here is a list of the top selling jerseys by league (football, baseball and basketball making this a list of 9 top non-hockey jerseys). Do you have any of these or is your list different?

National Football League (NFL)

  • Ezekiel Elliott – #21 – Running back for Dallas Cowboys

Elliott was the fourth pick by Dallas in the 2016 NFL Draft and has sold more jerseys than any other NFL player so far.  He signed a four-year Rookie contract reportedly worth $24.9 million with a $16.3 million signing bonus.

  • Tom Brady – #12 – Quarter  back for New England Patriots

Brady is considered by many as “the face” of the Patriots and possibly the greatest Quarter back in NFL history.  He was drafted by New England in the 2000 NFL Draft.  During his career, he has won four Super Bowl rings, was a Super Bowl MVP (most valuable player) three times and NFL MVP twice.  This is a few of his accomplishments.

  • Odell Beckham Jr. – #13 – Wide receiver for New York Giants

Beckham was drafted by the Giants in 2014.  During a game against the Dallas Cowboys in November 2014, he made a one-handed touchdown reception hailed as the “catch of the year”.  The Pro Football Hall of Fame has his game-worn jersey from this catch on display.

Major League Baseball (MLB)

  • David Ortiz – #34 – Designated hitter for Boston Red Sox (sometimes plays first base)

Ortiz is a three times World Series Champion and a ten times All-Star.  He holds the Red Sox single-season record for home runs (54) during the 2006 season.  His nickname is “Big Papi”.

  • Kris Bryant – #17 – Third baseman/outfielder for Chicago Cubs

Drafted by the Cubs in 2013 and made his debut in the majors on April 17, 2015.  In 2013, he won the Dick Howser Trophy (awarded to the College baseball player of the year) and the Golden Spikes Award (awarded to the best amateur player in the U.S.).  He is a two times All-Star (2015, 2016) and won National League Rookie of the year in 2015.

  • Clayton Kershaw – #22 – Starting pitcher for Los Angeles Dodgers

Kershaw is considered by many to be the best pitcher in MLB.  He has played in the majors since 2008 and has won the Cy Young Award three times (2011, 2013, 2014), National League MVP (2014) and six times All-Star (2011 – 2016) to name a few.

  • National Basketball Association (NBA)
    • Stephen Curry – #30 – Point Guard for Golden State Warriors

Many players and analysts call Curry the “greatest shooter in NBA history”.  In 2014 – 2015 he won NBA MVP Award and led the Warriors to their first Championship.

    • LeBron James – #23 – Small Forward for Cleveland Cavaliers

James has won NBA Championship three times, NBA MVP Awards four times and two Olympic Gold Medals.

    • Kobe Bryant – #24 – Retired

Bryant played his entire twenty year career with the Los Angeles Lakers and was a shooting guard.  He is an 18 times All-Star, five times NBA Champion and won NBA MVP in 2008.  These are just a few of his accomplishments.  He also holds the NBA record for most seasons playing with one franchise for an entire career.

Although we don’t carry any of these jerseys, we still do have a large selection of hockey jerseys in our shop. Come check it out and see if we have your favorite player.
